Under the rules of our constitution we are required to hold elections for Board Members who have served three years or who have been co-opted rather than elected onto the Board.
Currently we have one Board Member who is prepared to stand down and therefore we have one position up for election.
General Responsibilities of Board Members
Members are required to work with each other in order to meet our Objectives and to attend monthly Board meetings. Some board positions such as Membership Secretary, Communications, and Disabilities Liaison Officer carry additional responsibilities. For further information, contact the SST Secretary by email (secretary@sstrust.uk) .
If you would like to stand for election to the Board then you need to be nominated by two existing SST members and complete the nomination form which is available on the SST website (www.sstrust.uk/sst-board/sst-board-elections /) and send it together with your candidate statement to secretary@sstrust.uk or to our postal address, Silkmen Supporters' Trust, c/o 3 Lincoln Place, Upton Priory, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 3EW no later than 10 February 2023.
The current rules were approved in May 2019 and can be accessed via the link below:
