About the SST

As football becomes a bigger and bigger business, few fans are able to retain a share in the ownership of their clubs. The result has been that the fans’ voice on matters affecting their clubs’ futures grows weaker.

The region, its community and a co-operative approach is central to Macclesfield TFC's unique character. Looking after the club’s values and spirit, and keeping them safe for future generations is the responsibility of all Silkmen fans. 

Currently the Silkmen Supporters' Trust has around 135 shareholders (members).

The current focus of the Silkmen Supporters' Trust is  a new set of aims and objectives that the Silkmen Supporters Trust (SST) Board is committed to delivering and which will be reviewed at the end of each season.
 

• 1. Work with the Club to improve the matchday experience for Supporters.
• 2. Provide a channel of communication between the fans and the Club.
• 3. Increase the membership of the SST by 25%
• 4. Identify supporters' issues, assess them and where appropriate, try to resolve them with the Club and the Fans Liaison Officer to invited to alternate meetings.
• 5. To raise funds that will be used for the benefit of supporters, the community and the Club, encouraging supporter-led projects/initiative with financial, administrative and media support as required.

By joining the Trust you become a shareholder in the Silkmen Supporters' Trust (a non-profit making, democratic "mutual") which is a part-owner of the club. 

Together we can make the fans voice heard on key issues affecting the Club, and help retain the Club's unique position in the community.

Annual membership costs £10 for adults and £5 for the over 60's or under 18's. There are discounted packages for 5 year membership.

All under 12's are offered free membership.
