SST Board Election and Election Rules

Under the rules of our constitution we are required to hold elections for Board Members who have served three years or who have been co-opted rather than elected onto the Board.

 

Currently we have five co-opted Board Members and two Board Member who has served three years and therefore we have seven positions up for election.

  • Patrick Birch – (co-opted)
  • Mike Clark – (co-opted)
  • Caroline Harrop (co-opted)
  • Jon Mail (co-opted)
  • Richard Pattrick (co-opted)
  • Bernie Rickman – Membership Secretary (elected 2017)
  • Chrissie Thompson (elected 2016)

General Responsibilities of Board Members

 

Members are required to work with each other in order to meet our Objectives and to attend monthly Board meetings.   Some board positions such as Membership Secretary and Disabilities Liaison Officer carry additional responsibilities.  For further information, contact the SST Secretary by email (secretary@sstrust.uk) .

 

If you would like to stand for election to the Board then you need to be nominated by two existing SST members and complete the nomination form which is available on the SST website (www.sstrust.uk/sst-board/sst-board-elections /) and send it together with your candidate statement to secretary@sstrust.uk  or to our postal address, Silkmen Supporters' Trust, c/o 9 Highfield House, 44 Beechfield Road,  Davenport, Srockport, Cheshire, SK3 8SF no later than 31 October 2020.
