Relegation Confirmed

As everyone is now aware the EFL relegated the club from League 2 to the National League. The SST did everything it could to prevent this avoidable relegation which can only be laid at the feet of one person.

The SST in its dealings with the EFL has come to the conclusion that the EFL is not fit for purpose whilst it continues to be under the influence of clubs and their owners. The EFL needs to totally independent. Furthermore it is disgraceful how clubs are punished differently for the same offence.

New Manager Appointed

The SST welcome the appointment of Tim Flowers as manager. It will be a tough and unenviable task for Tim to put together a team for the commencement of the National League on 3^rd October 2020. The budget is going to very tight especially with many fans indicating that they will not spend a single penny on the club whilst the majority shareholder remains at the club.

The Silkmen Supporters' Trust (SST) is looking for fans of Macclesfield Town FC to join us.

The SST aims to raise funds both to invest in and support our beloved Silkmen.

The SST is looking for new members in order to grow and expand it's range of activities. Annual membership costs £10 for adults and £5 for the over 60's or under 18's. There are discounted packages for 5 year membership.

All under 12's are offered free membership.
